Using your Google sign-in, it fetches the relevant posts, due dates and attachments. Nothing else.

Requires a paid Claude plan (Pro or higher). While this app is in testing, your Google email must be added as a tester by the person who shared this page.

  1. Add the connectorIn Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it Google Classroom, paste the URL and click Add.
  2. Sign in with GoogleClick Connect and use the account your classes are on. If Google says the app isn't verified, click Continue.
  3. Allow accessChoose Select all, then Continue. Open a new chat and try a prompt from above.

Privacy

Your data stays yours.

  • No passwords. You sign in with Google directly; access can be revoked any time.
  • No class content stored. Only an encrypted sign-in token and a basic usage count are kept.
  • Read-only for students. It never submits work or posts on your behalf.
  • Drafts for teachers. Anything created waits for the teacher to review and publish.

FAQ

Good to know

Does my school need to approve it?

Personal Gmail accounts work right away. School accounts may need the school's Google Workspace admin to allow third-party apps.

Can it read scanned worksheets?

Text-based PDFs, Google Docs, Slides and Sheets are read directly. Images, such as photos of a worksheet, are shown to Claude as pictures. Scanned PDFs with no text layer can't be read.

Does it work in ChatGPT or Gemini?

It's a standard MCP server, so it works in any assistant that supports custom MCP connectors. ChatGPT supports this on Business, Enterprise and Edu plans.

How do I disconnect?

Remove it in Claude's connector settings, and revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
